Lyra The Lyra creates a stunning performance piece, elevating the classical movements of traditional dance by sequenced routines performed on the Lyra while suspended in the air. This piece is performed by attaching the Lyra to either a rigging point at the venue, or by the performers personal rigging equipment. Aerial Silk/HammockDance Trapeze
Aerial Silk and Hammock performances are similar in magnitude and beauty to the Lyra. Combining choreographed sequences with the sultry medium of Aerial Silk, these performances stand out at any event.
Dance Trapeze showcases the traditional circus acrobatic aesthetic with its fluid movement on a spinning bar suspended by ropes. Nothing says circus quiet like a trapeze.
Additional Aerial ActsAerial Chain, the dance is performed while suspended on chains creating a inciting and exciting audience experience.
Go-Go/Lollipop dancing utilizes the Lyra and pole structure to create dances that can be featured at any event as an elevated style of Go-Go dancing.
Aerial InstructionI offer aerial dance lessons in two general formats. The first option is to choose a single apparatus for the duration of the class, options include; Lyra, Aerial Sling, Aerial Silks, and Dance Trapeze. The second option is to have a general intro-to-aerial class where the student will be exposed to two of the four apparatuses per class, for example a class introducing beginner elements of Lyra and Silks, or Dance Trapeze and Aerial Sling. Classes last 1 hour and are 20$ per student.
